Laura’s Story

Laura Sylvia grew up in Long Beach, Mississippi. She studied engineering, pharmacy, and marketing at Ole Miss — where a single lesson in her first week of college never left her: you are your own brand. Represent yourself as such.
She moved to Miami alone in 2021, knowing no one. She found her people through fashion and community — and built Lavish by LauLau to give others the same feeling. Since then she has produced events for up to 500 guests, opened Miami Swim Week annually, served as press secretary for a Miami mayoral campaign, and co-founded PRAI, a Forbes-featured PR and AI agency.
Lavish exists because brands fail when they produce content without human connection. We build the community, the presence, and the culture that makes people feel something — and then buy something.
